Royal Arch / Elves Chasm
These pictures were taken in April 1995
on a 45-mile trip from along the Royal Arch route, to Elves Chasm,
across the Tonto, and up Bass Trail.
The weather was excellent, though there was precipitation on the first
day (the exact nature of which is under some debate; I maintain that
if it bounces when it hits the ground, it ain't snow).

Royal Arch.
All it takes is removing
a block of solid rock 40 feet by 40 feet by 40 feet, and you, too,
can create your own Royal Arch.
