An advantage to being near water in the early morning
is that the light is just right to get nice reflections off the pools.
The image also shows the conglomerate that was prevalent in this canyon,
presumably formed by travertine deposits cementing the streambed rubble
into place.
In the Supai along Bass trail.
A small pool between Elves and Garnet.
Apparently a hiker with a fan was the most intriguing thing imaginable,
since everyone insisted on a picture.
They even took one with my camera.
Maybe they'll pretend they were aiming for the reflections on the water...
